‘I Found It’ marks the debut release from Baobab Studios a three-track journey crafted by South African 3-Step innovator Suffocate SA, Ethiopian Afro House talent Ghedi, and Kenyan dancefloor legend Hiribae featuring the etherial vocals and songwriting of studio resident June On The Moon. 

Born in the afterglow of Journey to the Baobabs in August 2024, the trio of producers locked themselves away for a few inspired days, channeling the blissed-out magic that Kilifi’s Beneath the Baobabs events are famous for. June On The Moon later wrote and recorded the seminal vocal take of ‘I Found It’ in studio, delivering the label with its first release!

The title track, ‘I Found It’, is a rolling wave of 3-Step rhythm, layered with Balearic-style synths and pads that submerge the listener deep into the Indian Ocean before lifting them skyward on rising drum rolls and the sunlit melodies of June On The Moon’s vocal call. It’s a sonic sunrise at The Twisted Fig Stage, woven with choral chant and psychedelic undertones through masterful layers of percussion and texture. The Studio team have also offered an Instrumental Version for deeper moments on the dancefloor.

On the flip, Deeper House does exactly what it promises, a warm, instrumental groove built for the sunset hour. A confident, up-front kick anchors meditative pads, while the trio’s signature syncopated hi-hats dance playfully above. Piano lines nod to ’90s Deep House, reimagined through a rich Afro-rhythmic lens. It’s a track to raise your glass to, knowing the night ahead will be unforgettable.
