Umoja is a boundary-pushing DJ and production duo from Haarlem, the Netherlands, made up of Job André de la Porte and Jeffrey Bok. Rooted in the belief that music and dance can heal and transform, they blend deep musical traditions with forward-thinking electronic production.

They first gained international attention through vibrant edits of African and Latin sounds, before evolving into fully original productions inspired by travels across East Africa. Collaborating with artists from Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, Umoja has crafted a percussion-driven sound rich in groove, syncopation, and dub textures.

Their 2024 Ugali Disco EP reflects this journey — a vibrant fusion of East African rhythms, Afro-disco, and electronic music — brought to life through energetic DJ sets across Europe and Africa
