Michel Ongaro is a Kenyan multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, and music coach known for his versatility and expressive musicianship. Active since 2002, he has built a reputation as one of Kenya’s most dynamic performers, mastering instruments including guitar, flute, drums, and percussion.

His sound draws from African musical traditions while blending jazz, Latin, and global influences into a fluid, genre-defying style. Ongaro has performed widely both in Kenya and internationally, appearing at major events such as Blankets and Wine and collaborating across diverse musical projects, including the cultural ensemble Mambo Tribe.

Beyond the stage, he is deeply committed to mentorship and musical education, continuing to shape and inspire the next generation of artists while bridging traditional and contemporary sound.
